The UAE Ministry of Defence reported on April 9 that its air defence systems registered no incoming ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, or unmanned aerial vehicles from Iranian territory over the previous several hours.
This represents the first instance since hostilities began on February 28 where a full day passed without any recorded attacks.
No new injuries or fatalities occurred in the preceding 24-hour period.
The overall casualty count since the war started remains unchanged at 224 wounded individuals representing numerous nationalities including Emiratis, Egyptians, Filipinos, Pakistanis, Indians, and Bangladeshis among others.
The Ministry confirmed that the death toll stays at two fallen military personnel, one Moroccan civilian working as an armed forces contractor, and ten civilians originating from six different countries.
Those nations include Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Palestine, India, and Egypt.
