Entertainment critic and artiste manager Bullgod has described Stonebwoy as the hardest-working musician Ghana has ever produced, placing the Afrodancehall star above all past and present Ghanaian artistes in terms of work ethic.
Speaking on UTV’s United Showbiz on December 27, 2025, Bullgod said that although he was not present during the early years of Ghana’s music industry, he firmly believes Stonebwoy’s level of dedication surpasses that of legendary acts such as Osibisa, Daddy Lumba, Kojo Antwi, and Amakye Dede.
Bullgod questioned whether any of the revered icons had collaborated with top international artistes and brought them to Ghana in the way Stonebwoy consistently does.
“I wasn’t around when Ghana music began, but I can say authoritatively that Stonebwoy has worked more than everybody who has ever been in the industry. Did Osibisa work with the Jackson 5? Who outside Ghana did Daddy Lumba feature? Have you seen Amakye Dede work with a foreign act and bring them to Ghana?” he asked.
He clarified that his comments were not about talent comparisons but purely about effort and consistency.
“You cannot compare talent, but when it comes to work, Stonebwoy has overworked. He will go down in history as one of the people who deliberately championed Ghana on the global stage,” Bullgod added.
