A 41-year-old young entrepreneur, Mr. Kojo Fosu who is a native of Amoafo within the Bekwai Municipality has donated GHC90,000 to five health facilities in the Bekwai Municipality.
Mr. Kojo Fosu a businessman and entrepreneur who lives in Accra saw the need to support the fight against this pandemic disease.
He presented GHC20,000 each to the five health facilities within Bekwai Municipal namely; Dominase SDA Hospital, Akomaa Memorial Hospital, Bekwai Government Hospital, Kokofu General Hospital and GHC10,000 to Kokofu Ahumadyia Hospital.
Dr. Frank Serebour, the Medical Superintendent of Bekwai Government Hospital on behalf of all the health facilities thanked Mr. Kojo Fosu for the philanthropic job he has done.
He again advised those whom God has blessed with plenty to emulate what the young man has done.
Mr. Kojo Fosu did not end his donations only on health facilities but extension was made to Bekwai Central Institute where he donated items worth GHC8,000.
The items included; 10 cartons of milk, 2 boxes of Key Soap, 30 bags of rice, 5 gallons of big cooking oil, 5 buckets of washing powder, 2 boxes of mackerel, 85 bags of water, 40 toilet rolls and 2 packs of tissue paper.
Nana Akua Adutwumaa who spoke on behalf of all the caretakers said they were overwhelmed because the donation has been one of the biggest donations they have ever received.
She thanked Mr. Fosu and his family and asked for God's blessings.
After all the donations, Mr. Kojo Fosu pleaded with those who have enough, to give to the poor, needy and communities at large.
Ghana has so far recorded 408 cases of the coronavirus.
