US Vice President J D Vance meets Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad ahead of ceasefire negotiations, the highest-level talks with Iran since the 1979 Islamic revolution.
High-profile Iranian officials also met Sharif and other top Pakistani officials as they hold indirect talks with the US. Iran’s delegation includes Tehran’s parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

Lebanon’s Health Ministry increased the number of people killed from Israeli attacks across the country on Wednesday to 357, warning that the death toll is not yet final as more victims are being found and identified.
