A DNA test has revealed that a woman who accused veteran gospel musician Kwaku Gyasi of fathering her child was not telling the truth.
The woman, identified as Anna, had earlier claimed in an interview on Sompa FM in Accra that she was once in a relationship with the musician about ten years ago. She alleged that after she became pregnant, he abandoned her and refused to take responsibility for the child.
According to her, several attempts to get him to accept the child failed, which led her to go public with her story.
However, when Sompa FM contacted Kwaku Gyasi, he denied ever knowing or meeting Anna. Both parties later agreed to a DNA test, and the results confirmed that he is not the child’s father.
Despite the outcome, Anna insists she does not accept the results and says she will continue to pursue the matter in an effort to prove her claim.
