U.S. President Donald Trump said late Wednesday (March 18) that the strike on Iran’s South Pars gas field was carried out solely by Israel, stressing that neither the United States nor Qatar had any involvement or prior knowledge of the attack.


Posting on Truth Social, Trump added that Israel would not carry out further strikes on the gas field. However, he issued a stark warning that if Iran were to target Qatar, the United States would respond forcefully, stating it would be prepared to unleash unprecedented military action against the South Pars gas field, with or without Israel’s involvement.
