See the areas that will be affected by ECG's planned maintenance on Thursday, March 26, 2026

The Electricity Company of Ghana has scheduled an extensive network of planned and emergency maintenance exercises across six regions for Thursday, March 26, 2026, with engineers set to undertake critical infrastructure upgrades that will temporarily disrupt power supply to scores of communities from the Ashanti Region to the Western enclave.

According to a comprehensive set of advisories issued by the power distributor over the past several days, the coordinated works are aimed at enhancing service reliability and strengthening the stability of the national grid. The outages will commence at varying times across affected areas, with most beginning at 9:00 am, though the duration of interruptions will differ significantly depending on the scope of works to be carried out at each location.

In the Central Region, three separate maintenance operations have been scheduled.
