Germany forward Nick Woltemade has described the game against Ghana's Black Stars as unpleasant, but the former world champions have picked lessons from the friendly.
The Newcastle United striker started for Germany before he was later replaced by Leroy Sane, who set up the match-winner for Deniz Undav in the 2-1 victory over Ghana.
Despite the win, Woltemade was not satisfied with the performance of him team, insisting Ghana frustrated them as they became impatient during some spells in the first half.
"The first 25 minutes were very good; we just lacked a goal. Then things got a bit chaotic because we became somewhat impatient," said the lanky forward.
"In the second half, we were dominant. Ghana only really threatened on the counter-attack. We conceded a few too many chances.
"It was an unpleasant game. The win makes the journey home much smoother. We can take a lot away from this match."
Germany took the lead at the stroke of half time through Arsenal forward Kai Havertz from the spot before Fatawu Issahaku levelled for Ghana after the break.
With two minutes remaining, Undav stole the winner for the four-time world champions.
Ghana will next face Mexico and Wales in May as part of preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
