An official of Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company (PHEDC) has been caught on camera being electrocuted in Calabar , Cross River State.
According to information obtained, the incident happened on Thursday, October 27, in the evening at the Margaret Ekpo International Airport gate.

In a brief video shared on online , the official can be seen hanging from the high-tension wire as other authorities attempt to lower the lifeless-appearing body .
The PHEDC’s patrol vehicle number 019 was also sighted parked under the high tension.

The most recent occurrence occurred less than a month after another PHEDC employee was electrocuted on a high-tension pole at Army Junction in Calabar, only a few meters from Eburutu Military Cantonment.
