The Police has arrested 29 suspects, in connection with violent clashes that occurred between two factions at New Tulaku, Ashaiman, in the Greater Accra Region. The incident occurred today, Friday 28 October 2022. According to initial investigations, a misunderstanding between the two rival factions at the New Tulaku meat market resulted in the attack, in which six people sustained various degrees of injuries. The injured are currently receiving treatment at the hospital, and are all in stable condition, medical authorities have confirmed. Calm has also since been restored to the area with heavy security presence at Ashaiman and its environs. Beyond that, the Police has assured the public that: "Investigation continues and all those involved will be brought to justice."
