It emerged that her rise to fame had been truncated by drugs and depression.

The talented mash up queen shocked the unflappable Delay as she admitted to the kind of drugs she’s done in her young life.
Delay after listening to the sad story of Dhat Gyal broke down in tears as she advised her to make God a part of her life.
Delay further advised Dhat Gyal to stay away from drugs and bad company because they can easily corrupt you.
She encouraged her to keep singing and allowing Ghanaians to enjoy her powerful and wonderful voice.
